The Holiday It List Part I

15 November 2009 No Comment

shopping_trip cartoonLadies and gents looking for affordable yet chic for cheap items from clothing to tech, this is the spot to find all the hot items that will make you the hit of the season!

As many of you know, I am an avid online shopper.  I buy clothes, shoes, cosmetics etc. online. Many sites have the ability to zoom so you can see the texture of the garment and see alternate views for items such as shoes,  help make it so much easier to shop. Add in easy return to some of the brick and mortar stores, then it is a homerun.

Over the next three days, stay tuned for my top picks online. Please note that I do not receive any compensation for my top picks, this is all from my experiences, where I shopped and was satisfied. Today, I will start with the best trendy and novelty items.

1. Etsy.com: This is the one stop shop for all unique and creative items.  The site features items from soap to ceramics.  I strongly suggest reading the reviews and shipping for the individual merchants.

2.  Iman Global Chic on HSN: Many of you may know Iman from her ground-breaking Supermodel days, Iman Cosmetics or  being Mrs. Bowie (wife of David Bowie). However, do you know she has a beautiful collection of clothing, shoes and accessories?  Below is a sample of some of the gorgeous items that are affordable and on easy-pay!  All images and products are available via HSN.

3.  Fred Flare: Here is a site for all cute niche type of items.  Looking for a 2 GB Hello Kitty Flash USB drive , pint sized iPod hoodie or the show stopper Navy Ruffled Hanptons Jacket  this is the place.

4. Go Jane: This is the go to place for on-trend for cheap.  Think Strawberry’s or Forever21 etc.  Boots, booties, dresses, etc.

Do you have any finds online? Share!

Tomorrow, stop by for Part II, which will include the best sites for holiday airfare deals.
